Structure and Discipline for your Mind and Body

Wing Tsun kung-fu, a form of Chinese martial arts, has served the people of China for hundreds of years. Learning to defend oneself is taken for granted and might really be secondary in importance for what Wing Tsun kung-fu does for the person.

Chinese kung-fu is not about who can kick whose rear end but who can master oneself. Martial arts from these Asian countries were never about entertainment or testing one’s ability to kill and win matches against your pain in the neck neighbor. It was about creating a worthwhile person that can survive in the present day. Students learn coordination, patience, self-assessment, how to stay fit, lessons about the body and mind, and then you learn self-defense after all is said and done!

Wing Tsun differs, however, from other styles and systems in that it has a logical precision to it. Techniques have real reasons for what they are for, not just for show. It is not a “pretty style.” It was never intended to be shown outside the “family door.”

What drives students to learn is the techniques that make absolute, logical sense. The time is now to try this martial art which has hundreds of years of history and remain popular today. Not many martial arts have several movies written around the masters of this style.
